XI. Cookies Policy
A. Personal data administrator
The administrator of Personal Data is JMC Sp. z o.o. with headquarters in Wrocław at Olszewskiego 3A, 51-642 Wrocław.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files (.txt.) saved by a web server on a user's workstation (usually in ROM). The data contained in cookies allows you to read information contained in them only to the server that created them. Cookies are used most often in the case of counters, surveys, online stores, websites that require login, advertisements and to analyze visitors' activity.
2. What is the role of cookies?
Cookies contain various data about activities performed on the website by its workstation, including, for example, the contents of its shopping basket on the website. Thanks to them, the server owner who sent cookies can easily get to know the user's IP address, as well as, for example, check which pages he was browsing before accessing his website. In addition, the server owner can check what browser the user is using and whether or not there was error information while displaying the page. It is worth noting, however, that these data are not associated with specific people browsing the site but only with a workstation connected to the Internet on which the cookie was saved (in cookies, there is no data to link the Internet ID with any other personal data)
Typically, the data is used to automatically recognize a specific user by the server, which can then generate a dedicated page for him. This enables, for example, customization of websites login services or some contact forms.
JMC Sp z o.o., the owner of the siberica.com.plonline store uses cookie files to optimize the appearance and function of the website, as well as to adapt its content to the user's preferences.
We also use them to create anonymous statistics, with the exception of personal user identification with the help of our trusted partner Google Inc. We use the Google Analytics tool for this purpose. This helps us to understand how users use our store's website and to improve its content.
In addition, JMC Sp. z o.o. may allow the inclusion of cookie files on the user's workstation, to ensure the proper functioning of the website, by external entities or on their behalf. This helps to monitor and check its performance. The subject is, inter alia, the previously mentioned Google Inc.
Our stores also use the Google AdWords cookie technology to enable our stores to assess the correctness and effectiveness of their advertising activities using the AdWords network. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if it is required to do so by law or if they process such information on behalf of Google. These data are never combined with data provided by the user in the account registration and ordering processes and constitute only material for statistical analysis and system error correction mechanisms.
The user can set up a web browser on his workstation in such a way that the cookie files are accepted or deleted depending on his will. This means that with the help of browser settings, you can prohibit the web server from saving cookie files, in general in the memory of your workstation, or set them to be deleted at a specific time. Detailed information is available on the websites of browser manufacturers.
